"Sunny" was imported the Spring of 2003 as a yearling from the world famous Danaway Stud in Kent, England. We can't thank Danaway Stud enough for letting purchase such an animal. He is everything that we have hoped for and more. His bloodlines are some of finest to be found, with his sire being RWAS Supreme champion Danaway Flashjack and his dam who is a 1/2 sister to Royal Welsh Champion Danaway Tango.
Sunny has probably the most quiet of temperaments that can be found in a stallion. His first year under saddle (2008), he was rode by a pregnant rider, and carried her all through his first set of shows under saddle. He has always had the quiet, peaceful temperament that seperates him from the rest in the stallion department. The wonderful thing about his temperament is that he passes it along to his foals, making them a joy to be around and train. The next wonderful quality about this Cob is he movement and type. He is "True" to breed type, with a lovely up and out reach both front and back in his trot, a long, reachy walk and a rythmic, collected natural canter that has made him a joy to ride. His type is unbelievable with bone and feet (he has a size 4 shoe), lovely pony type head, short back, huge hindquarter and a flowing line from pole to tail.
"Sunny" has already proven that he can be at the top in the show ring. As a two year old, his only time shown in hand, he was pinned Supreme Champion at Western Nationals, 2004. He won enough points to be 3rd Nationally in the High Score awards with the WPCSA! Sunny is just starting his career under saddle and is doing very well in the show ring also.

Sunny will be available for bookings from March 1st through October 31st, 2010.

Stud fee also includes a $250 non-refundable deposit/booking fee.

Sorry at this time we are not offering live cover but if you wish, we can take care of your mare and offer shipping to and from the vet clinic for AI for extra fees.

Sunny is open to all breeds and all are foals eligible for Welsh or Half Welsh Registration with the Welsh Pony and Cob Society of America.

2009 Show News
At Sunny's first show of the season, he brought home blues under saddle in English Pleasure and Bridle Path Hack!
Sunny does it again! Placing in the top 5 of his English Pleasure Classes with 8 + horses in them!
Sunny wins Supreme Champion under Supreme Champion under Wyn Jones of the UK and wins English Pleasure Division Reserve Champion!
Second Welsh Show of the Season, Sunny wins Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Section D and wins English Pleasure Division Reserve Champion.
Last Welsh Show of the Season, Sunny is double 1sts in the Section C/D Stallion Class (Undefeated in the Section D Stallion Class this year!) Double Reserve Grand Champion Cob, 3rd in Ridden Cob, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in English Pleasure.
